Installing SSD on new windows Machine and unlocking a locked windows 8 drive

1) Had to enable legacy option for hard drives/usb devices in bios
2) Had to disable bios checking of boot files in bios
3) Had to use this to unlock the drive:

bootrec /RebuildBcd

after thet press
 Y

4) Booted into windows 8 install disk, used advanced options to perform automatic repair.
