How to clone windows 10 disk to ssd

I've tried several programs and they don't seem to work all the way.  E.g. they'll copy the info, but will leave off information like MBR, or the disk will be locked.  The only procedure I have found to work reliably is to use EaseUS Todo Backup Home 9.2, first.  After I use this sometimes the disk won't be bootable, so I then use the windows 10 install media, go into repair the computer and it fixes the problems.
