Motorola Razr HD car mount for Acura TL

I'm not too picky about how my electronics look...as long as they are functional.  Here is a quick and dirty cell phone mount for an Acura TL.  The Duolock that is used, comes off the plastic it is mounted to on the car pretty readily. Here is the finished product:

Materials:
Razr HD vehicle mount
About 1 foot of Duolock
Hot glue gun/glue
4 - Megabloks 2x4 bricks (Yes, Megabloks)
2- Megobloks 1/2 height 2x6 or 2x8 bricks

Step 1:
Cut the screw mounting piece off the back of the Razr HD vehicle mount. E.g. just the cylindrical piece, cut it flat with the underlying square bracket. Be careful not to cut too deep into the square bracket as you will cut the electronics board contained therein.  Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of this step.

Step 2:
Fit the 2x4 bricks on the back of the HD mount and glue them down with both super glue around the edge of the bricks and hot glue in the middle.  Add the half height bricks on top, attach duolock to the top of the half height bricks and the square bracket so it looks like this:

The height of the blocks together matches the height of the square bracket so that the Duolock is the same over the whole surface.

Step 3: Attach the Duolock to your TL like this:
Step 4: Press the new mount firmly onto the Duolock mounted to the vehicle.
This is actually my second version of this mount.  My original was for the Razr, when I wanted to switch, I simply disconnected the mount from the Duolock and made this new mount with Duolock.
